The Port Coquitlam courthouse opened full Supreme Court registry services in June 2025, providing in-person filing and registry services for Supreme Court civil and family matters. The courthouse also handles Provincial Court criminal, family, small claims, and traffic matters for the Tri-Cities area, serving Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge, and Pitt Meadows.

Unexpected challenges at the Vancouver Courthouse can halt proceedings. If an urgent, substantial fee is required, our team can solve the problem on the spot. We can get funds sent by e-transfer that same day, allowing our servers to cover the cost immediately and get your legal work performed without critical delays.

Parking at the Vancouver Courthouses

Street parking in downtown Vancouver is limited and metered. The most convenient option for the Law Courts at 800 Smithe Street is the underground parking at the adjacent Pacific Centre or nearby Impark lots. For the Provincial Court at 222 Main Street, there are paid lots along Main Street and in the surrounding area. Please note that the New Westminster Law Courts parking lot is currently closed due to construction. We recommend arriving early as parking fills up quickly on busy court days.
