Process Serving
Our main service is the personal delivery of legal documents. With a network of over 80 offices, our experienced process servers ensure your documents are served correctly and in full compliance with local court rules, anywhere in Canada. Court Issuing & Filing
We provide daily attendance at courthouses across the country to handle the issuing and filing of your legal documents. Whether you are dealing with new online procedures or need physical documents filed, our team can manage the entire process for you, saving you valuable time and ensuring all deadlines are met.
Court Research & Document Retrieval
Our team can conduct detailed research and retrieve specific files or documents directly from the courthouse. This can be a very convoluted process for those unfamiliar with it, but our experienced team is here to help.
We understand the lifecycle of court files. For example, in Ontario and other provinces, older files are often sent to “deep storage” off-site. Our team knows this process intimately. We will attend the court, order the file from storage, and then re-attend the courthouse once it arrives. Depending on the court’s rules, we can either have the court staff copy the exact pages you need or take the file to an on-site law library to copy it ourselves. We then scan the entire file using our in-office equipment available at every location and send you a high quality electronic copy by email, with the option to courier or mail hard copies for your records.
Crucially, we are equipped to handle unexpected challenges that can halt proceedings. If a court clerk presents a substantial, immediate fee, most process serving companies would have to walk away, causing weeks of delay while a cheque is requested and couriered. Our team can solve this on the spot. We regularly e-transfer funds to our servers in the field to cover these urgent costs, saving our clients invaluable time and preventing critical delays.
