Our Story: A Legacy of Service
The roots of our company date back to the late 1970s in Kitchener, Ontario. Our founder and president, Chris Ecklund, after studying Criminology, began his career as a process server in 1983. He built the company on a simple but powerful principle: to provide the legal community with a service they could trust implicitly. This foundation of trust is why, four decades later, we are the go-to provider for top law firms, corporations, and individuals across the country.
A Team of Experienced Professionals
Our strength lies in our people. The majority of our process servers across our 80+ offices are retired peace officers, recruited from the ranks of city, provincial, and RCMP forces. This unparalleled experience ensures every document is handled with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and a deep understanding of the law. We are not a directory or a ‘middleman’; we are a dedicated, professional operation from coast to coast.

Supporting Canada’s Legal Community
Since our inception, we have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in sponsorships for provincial and city bar associations, as well as the Canadian Bar Association (CBA). Furthermore, our founder was instrumental in championing the Ontario Bar Association’s lawyer assistance program, building its first website to bring crucial mental health and addiction support out of the shadows for legal professionals in need.
National & International Initiatives
Our philanthropic work is driven by a desire to act during times of crisis and to honour those who serve. Key initiatives include:
- Canadian Heroes Foundation: For over 15 years, our founder, Chris Ecklund, has led this nationally recognized organization, dedicated to honouring our soldiers, veterans, and first responders through cross-country tours and awareness campaigns.
- Operation Stand With Ukraine: In response to the invasion of Ukraine, we launched this operation to provide direct aid. For these efforts, our founder was officially sanctioned by Russian President Vladimir Putin—a distinction a provincial Premier once termed to “wear like a badge of honour.”
- Operation Blue Jay: A massive ongoing operation to help resettle Afghan allies who assisted Canadian forces.
- The City of Waterfalls: As the founder of this initiative, we helped change the face of our hometown of Hamilton by promoting and illuminating its 100+ waterfalls.
- Community Support: We have been involved in countless other initiatives, from providing critical support during the 1998 Ice Storm and sponsoring Kosovar refugees in 1999, to funding historical books and supporting local families affected by tragedy.
