Paul Haller began his policing career with the Ontario Provincial Police in 1975. Paul served from 1975 – 1986 in Kaladar, Ontario where his duties consisted of general investigations and patrol, along with being a member of the District #9 Search & Rescue unit.
In 1986 Paul was transferred to Belleville Detachment where he continued as assigned, to general patrol along with serving on the Search & Rescue Unit. He also was a trained Marine Operator and did a six month deployment with the Penitentiary Squad. In 2000 Paul was transferred to Central Hastings Detachment (Madoc). While there he was assigned to the Court Case Management Position for the Detachment until his retirement in 2006. This position consisted of managing all facets of the Detachments Court files, which meant the proofing of all briefs, attending Pre-trial meetings with lawyers and judges, setting trial dates etc.
Paul was involved with the Ontario Provincial Police Association serving as Branch 9 Treasurer for a number of years and then as Branch Secretary from 2001 – 2006.
Paul has extensive knowledge of the Belleville area and looks forward to taking care of any process serving or issuing and filing services at the Belleville Court House.
