Martin Dand joined Canadian Process Serving Inc. in 2002 because he wanted to practice his expertise with court documents and apply his knowledge of the court system.
Martin joined the Toronto Police Service as a 20 year old police cadet, and worked in a variety of interesting and rewarding positions. He retired in 2001 from a 35 year law enforcement career with the Toronto Police Service. He served the community as a police officer mostly in the Parkdale, West Toronto and Downtown areas, but became familiar with all of Toronto.
Martin's extensive Divisional and Traffic police experience included the following: police radio dispatcher; walking the beat; driving a patrol car answering radio calls for assistance; operating a divisional motorcycle; recruit training officer; driving a prisoner paddy wagon; driving a shotgun car responding to bank holdups; plainclothes officer investigating licensed premises, gaming and bawdy houses; investigative officer at crime scenes; a station duty officer; a booking and printing officer; traffic accident investigator(serious injuries and fatalities); accident scene photography; radar (speed enforcement officer); expressway enforcement officer; police tug of war team member; police revolver team member; plus many other duties and experiences too numerous to mention.
