About our Niagara Falls Process Servers

The success of this business is built on superb knowledge of the geography of the Niagara area, from Fort Erie to Cayuga to Grimsby, ensuring prompt service to all our clients.

Mick Riddle began his professional career as a Uniform Patrol Officer with the Corporation of the City of Thorold Police Force in July of 1970. In January of 1971 Thorold was taken over by the Regional Municipality of Niagara and he became a member of the larger force and served the region until his retirement in August of 1999.

During his tenure as a police officer he worked in Uniform Patrol and supervision, as a Forensic Identification officer, a Criminal Investigator in the Detective Office, Organized Crime Unit and the Major Crime Unit.

Mick Riddle also worked for three years on the Green Ribbon Task Force investigating the murders of Ontario schoolgirls Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy. In December of 1993 he was introduced to the Violent Crime Linkage Analysis System and became an international ambassador promoting the program.

In 1995 he was tasked with setting up a unit within the Niagara Regional Police Service that ensured compliance with ViCLAS and to track the movements of sexually deviant individuals in the Niagara Region. In 1999 this unit was awarded the Chief's of Police Award for dedication and excellence. Mick has also received several commendations over his twenty nine years of serving his community.

Upon retirement in 1999 Mick Riddle joined the faculty at Niagara College in Welland and has carried on professorial duties for the past three years in the Police Foundations and Law and Security Programs. He has been teaching courses, since joining the college staff, related to use of the Canadian Criminal Code, Report Writing for Policing, Conflict Management in Policing, Provincial Offenses and Interviewing and Investigations and Evidence.

He is on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Association of Police Educators and works closely with the Board of Governors of Child Find Ontario Niagara Chapter.

Mick Riddle continues to be involved in training initiatives within the police community lecturing to Supervisors and new recruits of the Niagara Regional Police Service and also has lectured at the Ontario Police Educators Conference.
